Whenever we were youngsters, our movies were books and our video games were kept in boxes around the closet shelves. I lately rediscovered this pleasure with my seven-year-old daughter. We decided to watch television less and take more time doing stuff that encouraged conversation and private interaction. It had been an excellent decision. We spent the summer time working puzzles, studying books together, and doing offers in the dining area table. Now i know which women in her own class giggle an excessive amount of, which boys will chase yourself on the playground, and just how much homework “they” expect her to obtain done. All this together time required me to my childhood. We never really needed to choose to watch less television.
